The u11’s battled the weekends wintery conditions and travelled to keighley this morning. With only a handful of games taking place across the region this weekend the u11’s were lucky enough to be on keighleys artificial surface which was playable.
Cleck started brightly in a stop start 1st period which had plenty of scrums. Keighley one of our toughest opponents opened the scoring capitalising on cleck errors and slow reactions. George and Finlay worked tirelessly at the breakdown and had several strong runs. The team grew into the game and contested well in the second period. Finally getting over the try line in the third period the team finished strongly making the score line more respectable. 2 try’s each for Aidan and player of the match max.
