Our deepest sympathies go out to Maria, Steve and Richard and the rest of the family.

Russ was the Kestrels' coach at the time of his passing and had been for a number of years. He also played in the team and was 3rd team captain for many seasons before that. He coached our junior sides, as his two lads, Steve and Richard, progressed through the age grades to senior rugby. He also played cricket for the Sports Club and coached youngsters at that game too.

Russ was a club man through and through and selflessly gave his time to others. He will be deeply missed and we are all feeling such sadness at this time.
