No game for the 1sts this week, but plenty of rugby still on offer as the Kestrels are once again in action at Moorend where they host Pontefract in a Merit League fixture. A fine 64-22 win last week against Doncaster Phoenix sees the Kestrels sitting in fourth place in the table, just one point behind Ponte, so a close contest should be on the cards as Carl Mason’s men look to finish the season strong and push for the Merit League title.

The 3rds are also in Merit League action as they travel to Huddersfield Laund Hill for a much needed fixture following a number of weeks without rugby.
